About
Wilkabaa School is a private, co-educational day and boarding, English medium school that educates children from Nursery to Primary level. In 2002, the foundations of the school were formed by Mrs Naomi Kabaa offering free education to children in the local area, following a long period of unemployment. Initially enrolling only four nursery aged students in a small rented living room, by 2003 the school had expanded to include primary aged pupils and the first school committee was formed. The quality and affordability of the education ensured the rapid expansion of the school, and in 2004 the school was shifted to its current campus and officially named Wilkabaa.
The school is now officailly registered with the ministry of education and Vocational training of Tanzania with the reg. No. AR/ E.A. 02/07/033 for the Nursery / pre school and AR.02/07/033 for the primary school. Today the school has more than 350 pupils for both pre-school and Primary school , 15 teachers and 14 other non-teaching staff.
